Blue Merle or Blue/White Border Collie Puppy Wanted?

By

I’m looking for a Blue Merle or Blue/White Border Collie puppy. If you are a breeder or know someone who has a litter or a litter or puppies on the way I would appreciate some contact details.

I recently lost my 13y/o Border Collie & although I understand that colours arent always important it will also help me to move on from my girl. I used to be a vet nurse also and take wonderful care and great pride in my dogs.

I am located in Parkdale, Victoria (Australia) but am willing to travel so if you can lend a helping hand Id really appreciate it! Thanks ; )

border collies don’t come in blue. They come in black & white and tricolor.

You can try craigslist or a local shelter though. Here sheepdogs get put in shelters almost as fast as pit bulls.

Baa-Baa- Border Collies come in many colors, including both blue merle, and blue (dilute of black). In addition to the black and white you mentioned, they also come in red, lilac, and gold. Merle and tricolor are patterns that can be incorporated into any of the colors. Never choose a dog based on color alone, and avoid like the plague any breeder who is advertising “rare” colors (or minis!)

Hi, I was actually just browsing and came across your questions and saw that you had received an incorrect answer – Border Collies come in lots of colors, Blue Merle, Blue Merle Tri, Red Merles, Lilac, Golden/Whites, etc etc. http://www.rocknrollbordercollies.com has 2 example of blue merles, as I myself am also looking for a companion to my current 6 year old Border Collie. Best of luck in your search – they really are stellar dogs!
