Look at the reviews and compare on dogfoodanalysis.com. This is a completely independent site, and has unbiased information on these foods.
Just like with most things, you get what you pay for. High quality dog foods aren’t cheap, and I personally don’t know of any discounts online. That’s not to say there aren’t any, but I haven’t found one. I used to feed my boys Blue Wilderness (grain free), and two of the three did great on it. My third had crazy food and environmental allergies so I put him on Legacy to help.

Those are actually the exact two brands I was debating between when I first got my puppy. I ended up choosing Wellness which she gobbles down. But honestly, either one is a fantastic food for your puppy. You could probably go with whichever one was cheaper and it wouldn’t hurt your dog at all.
Like the person above me, I also recommend using http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com if you don’t already, that site helped me a lot.

This is almost a dead heat. Very little difference. Same Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio. BB has 2% more protein, Very little difference in fat, fiber, moisture, calcium/phosphorous ratio. Both have chelated minerals. Both use whole grains. Ingredients are almost identical. Wellness has some fish. I like the life source bits in Blue Buffalo and it is about ten dollars cheaper for 30 pounds.

Large Breed food is a gimmick. I don’t bother feeding it at all. It probably does help LARGE breeds like Danes, etc. But too many folks give LB to labs who aren’t large breed dogs.
