My dog, (a mutt as far as i know) has greenish yellow eyes. Is there any particular breed that has yellow eyes
ByI can not tell what she is, but she has some pretty strong characteristics. ie: she barks like a hound dog, she is stubbern and she has a tail with a downward curve in it like it is broken or bent or something. she is white with a few butterscoth or lemon colored spots on her. her brother is the same, but he has dark brown eyes. what the heck are they? they have pretty large paws too, so they seem like they could get really big. Plus, they grow like weeds…any ideas?

Most dogs have yellow colored eyes in a certain light. I have a Chihuahua and a Shitzu. Their eyes are yellow at night and brown all day long!

My two dogs Koda an Grizzly have similar colored eyes, they are mixed with malamute, rottweiler, and english shepherd. It might just be because they are mixed breed dogs beacause they have so many different genes possible. They could be mixed with husky or malamute? Email me and give me more details on how they look.

Most dogs,who are close to wolves in blodline has,more or less,yellow eyes,try to take a close look at a sledge-dog

my cousins dog(daschund) have green eyes.

Chocolate labs have yellow eyes, as do Weimaraners and some German shepherds. I haven’t seen many Pointers with yellow eyes, but that sounds like what you’ve got. Next time you go to the vet ask what they think – they’re pretty good at telling what breed a dog might be.
