my dog got shampoo in his eyes, what will happen?
ByI took my to the dog salon to get him showered and trimmed just a couple hours ago, when i came back to pick him, one of the people working there said that the person rub the side of the eyes to hard that shampoo went into his eyes so they used eye drops to help. but he’s not opening his eyes, i’m just worried, i’m going to the vet tomorrow. i’m just wondering has anyones dog experienced this before? if your dogs experienced this what will actually help open their eye

This happened to my dog. I wouldn’t worry about it to much. Try to dab clean water around his eye, my dog is quite tough though so I don’t know if this will apply to all dogs. I hope this helps!

I’ve gotten shampoo in my dogs eyes hundreds of times and in my own eyes…..this is not the normal reaction….something is wrong. Don’t have a clue…except maybe the wrong drops were put in his eyes….shampoo won’t hurt them, just stings for a minute.
