Allergy to something.

3

He might have a rash or maybe a flea? Check with a doctor before it gets worse.

my dog bites her feet all the time.but just to be safe, you might wanna call your vet…

5

Dogs do this when they have allergies. Best thing to do is wash him with oatmeal shampoo.

6

Maybe your dog has a splinter or something thats swelling up itching..

7

are you retarded??? take him to the vet!!!!

8

um my doq did that to
turnd out there was a infection
qo to the vet and let em cheack it out
we had to buy a speashel soap and washed her paw every day
it was only like 10dollers tho

Check for fleas. Take him to the vet before the poor dog gnaws off his feet. He may also have a skin parasite.

10

go to the vet, this may be an allergic reaction, flea’s, mange it could be alot of things but you must make sure and take it to your vet.

11

bring him to the vet

12

buy anti ich spray at your local vet or pet store. Maybe your vet needs to do a skin scrapping to make sure its not mange or mites.

Dogs dont like anyone touching their feet , let alone something on them.

He probably has an allergy to something. Put some benadryl itch cream and see if that helps and take him to the vet.

he might have a flea or skin problems, poor thing, take him to the vet, sounds like it’s irratating.

Your dog has some kind of skin condition, it seems. OR he is walking through something that is irritating him, like thorns…
do you live in the south? some southern states spray the grass for mosquito control, and that will make them lick and bite their feet sometimes…
or his feet might just itch or hurt. If you can find no thorns, or anything in his paws or between his toes, you need to talk to a vet and try to get him some help. There might be a cream of some sort for his condition. They do make dog booties… http://www.ultrapaws.com/

he is allergic to something and all that chewing will give him an infection (inside). Get some benadryal like the vets do.,

Better yet call the vet and get the dog in.

hot spots, fleas, allergies, etc. just take the poor baby to the vet. every time i take my dog out to potty my feet get eaten up with mosquito bites and theres nothing worse than having to live with itchy feet. so take that poor baby in so he doesnt have to have itchy feet anymore. :)

fungus, allergie, rash……= VET

If after inspecting his feet you find nothing, please take your dog to the vet. He might allergic to something or possibly something terribly wrong. Dog won’t be trying to self mutilate if nothing is bothering him. Please take him to your vet right away.

Sounds like he has mange and you need to get it treated or it will spread throughout your dog’s body.

Usually diagnosing mange requires a simple skin scraping of the affected area. The vet will then put the sample under a microscope to look for the mites. Sarcoptic mites are usually not visible and further blood work may be required.

There are several treatments for mange mites and usually they’re quite effective. Your veterinarian will prescribe one of them (sometimes a dip, spray or creme) with perhaps an antibiotic and positive results should appear inside 7 days. Ivermectin, known to farmers for a long time as a dewormer has become a successful treatment for many dogs however a few breeds such as Collies and Shelties do not respond well to it. You must visit the vet for mange as only medication can reverse these effects

First I would check the length of his nails. If he does not get out much they may be to long and need trimming. This can be done at home but can sometimes be difficult. If the nails dont look to long then I would look and see if there are any weeds “foxtails” between his toes. I have found these are two very common reasons for chewing at feet.

they do that if thhey have an itch but there might be something stuck to her or theres something stuck in her skin=[

Allergies are commonly caused by food.

If you are feeding anything with corn, soy, wheat, colors, by-products, menadione, ethoxyquin, BHT, BHA, euthanasia drugs, please change the food you are feeding.

I would go to a holistic vet for allergies, even with the added price tag, it is worth it and I suggest learning about them.
