My German Shepherd has diarrhea?

By

He is 5 months old. He acts/eats/drinks normally, but he has been having soft stools for a little while.
It is not bloody or anything just soft looking. I feed him Wellness brand dog food. Is this normal?

mix some steamed white rice in there with the food. Do not give him anything else besides his food, no treats, no human food. Only feed him the had food and if anything else only the white rice, yogurt or cottage cheese until the stools are back to normal. If that doesn’t do it then schedule a visit to the vet.

GSD’ s do tend to have sensitive stomachs and it could be any number of things causing his diarrhea. You could try adding some rice to his dry food which may help firm up the stool. He may have picked up something too which is causing a bacterial problem in his intestines, or it could be something he may have eaten or drank. if it doesn’t clear up in a day or two call you vet and have him looked at. you can also try giving him a bland diet for a day or two of nothing but cooked white plain rice mixed with boiled chicken or hamburger.

THE ONLY WAY TO CURE YOUR DOG IS TO SUCK THE POISON OUT OF HIS COLON!!!

My neighbor has a German Shepard that I kept while they we’re one vacation. The only type of food he could eat was Science Diet for sensitive stomach because everything else gave him diarreah.
