Wow, only a month old! Usually dogs are weened after being at least 10 weeks old, but in any event, he’s just a baby and often they pee on themselves, or walk through it afterwards. The yellow crusty is probably just dried pee. After he pees, I would suggest wiping him with a kleenex.
As for squatting when he pees, all dogs do that when they are young. When he gets older, he may or may not lift his leg. It’s totally normal.
Good Luck with him! Puppies/Dogs are wonderful friends/family.

Put it down now for Christs sake.

They only start to lift there legs when they are a few months old – think of it as dog puberty! Also the pee trace that is left is normal, nothing to worry about.
Would hope that he is older than a month as well, as they should not be taken from there mothers until they are 6-12 weeks old.

No, it’s not an infection unless there is excessive amounts. He should just clean himself after going pee. And dogs that are neutered before their reach puberty pee like that. They only lift their leg if they were neutered after having reached puberty. Either way, you can take him to the vet to settle your mind.

No he probably doesn’t have an infection. Because he’s a puppy he will have a small residue of semen that remains on his prepuce after urination. As he matures this will disappear. Also as he becomes older and sexually mature he will start to lift his leg. It’s better to get him neutered at a younger age (before 6 months) to prevent him starting to do this in the house marking his territory.
You may trim the excess hair on the end of his penis from time to time. This will assist in keeping him cleaner.

The yellow residue is normal. And my little boy didn’t learn to lift his leg until he was 6 mo. old, before this he just squatted.
