Has anyone heard of/used athletes foot powder for a dogs ears?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a 10 yr old dog with pendulous ears, therefore they stay damp. Several times she has gotten what the vet calls a yeast infection and prescribe expensive meds. My friend who has a farm, several healthy dogs and s knowledgable about vet issues says I should sprinkle some athletes foot powder lightly in her ears. Comments?
Does anyone know what the oil is that you use for dogs ears to get rid of mites?

Posted by: | CommentsI love my dogs but am sooo sick of hair everywhere! Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the hair. I love my house to be picture perfect and when I see hair I have to just clean and clean. It seems as though I can’t have any free time for cleaning up hair and trying to keep the dog smell off them. I hate the smell of dogs also. Can anyone help with either of these?

Posted by: | CommentsI recently found a dog food and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. It is Call of the Wild. They have a formula with Alaskan Salmon and one with Wild Fowl. There are absolutely no grains at all. The ingredients list includes things like sweet potatoes and even berries. I have newfies and I thought the Salmon formula would be good for them. Has anyone heard of this food?
Does anyone elses dog love to nibble there ears?

Does anyone know how to get a dog to stop chewing up stuff?
Posted by: | CommentsMy dog is 6 months old now and she is a pitbull-mastiff. She chewed a big hole in my matress and ripped a bunch of stuffing out of my blanket. She chews apart chairs and couches too. I’ve tried smacking her on the nose with paper, but it hasn’t worked. I also locked her in a cage for a couple hours, but she continues to chew and rip apart everything. Does anyone know anything I can do to get her to stop? Im desperate here!
