Archive for baby

As far as i know he’s not jumped off anything to hurt himself, he still wants to play and run, and when i feel his hip down to his paw, there’s no crying, he doesn’t whine like in pain. He just won’t really put any weight on it. I do have 1 yr old beagle and they run around the house not sure if he just hit the table, pulled muscle or what… I know they say Big dogs have hip problems could that be it, and what can i do for him?
About 3-4 days, he’s started walking on it today but not much. He’s my baby had him since he was 5 wks old. What would the vet do for him?

A baby rabbit ran into the back yard last night with the kids and the dog. The dog thought she got a new toy, my daughter saved the rabbit and we only found like a surface wound. We put some medicine on it. I have no idea how old this baby is. It fits in the palm of my husbands hand and has hair all over, the fact that it was away from its mother might lead me to beleive it is old enough to be weened. So if we let it go will it be able to take care of itself or if we nurse it back to good health are we stuck with a new “pet”. Can you have a wild bunnie for a pet? Would you need to get it shots? I know people have rabbits for pets but aren’t they domesticated animals not from the wild? What can I feed this little guy? Do they drink milk or water? Any good advice would help. Thanks

This is too cool! We were doing the tug rope thing, and she spit out a tooth!
NEVER in all of our years of having dogs have we found a baby tooth!
Two ice cubes for a treat and she’s happy as can be!

My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and didn’t pass the newborn hearing screening at the hospital when she was born. We were referred to an audiologist and had an appointment when she was 2 weeks old. The audiologist did an ABR test and an OAE test. She was diagnosed with a moderately severe (65 dB) hearing loss in her left ear and a severe (80 dB) hearing loss in her right. The audiologist determined that the loss is sensorineural in at least one ear. I’ve read that these tests are usually very accurate but she seems to hear better than I’d expect with those kind of results. She doesn’t startle when the dogs start barking but she still jumps at some loud sudden noises such as something dropping on a table or a scream. Is this still possible with that kind of hearing loss?
