Ok, so seriously, WHY does it seem everyone who should not wants to breed their dog?

Secondary question, what are ALL the costs, be it definite or variable (eg emergency during labor) that go into breeding and properly caring for a litter of puppies?

I know great danes, dobermans, boxers, etc. have their ears taped sometimes, but is it possible to do that with other breeds like a spaniel or poodle?

(Please only answer the question and do not just give your opinion, because I’m just curious about it, I wasn’t planning on doing anything)

I grew up with 2 german shepherds and for a while they were my favourite but now my taste has changed, I love golden retrievers but more so the white ones, like the yellow ones are gorgeous but I find that the ones with the white coat are the ones I like more. But my favourite dog overall has changed dramatically, I’m in love with british bulldogs, english bulldogs whatever you want to call them, they are just so gorgeous, I fell in love with them when I was watching The Osbournes and the son Jack had one, lola, she was too cute, ever since then I’ve loved the breed but unfortunately there so expensive =(

So then theres least favourite and mine comes in a variety, any terriers, jack russell, mostly and then theres the ugly crossbreed dogs that go for $800 like caboodle and moodles and cocapoos and what ever, also another ugly thing is chihauha’s seriously why bother buying that? You may as well buy a rat.

Oh and another dog breed I love – neopolitan mastiffs – gorgeous
Actually I have seen a real chihauha and still those are ugly, a friend had one named walter lol and he was like the fattest thing ever, another friend had one and it was a long haired one and it was still ugly – I totally agree with the fact that “designer dogs” are over priced, it’s pretty pathetic paying for that, I’d rather pay $800 for a pure bred golden retriever instead of a golden retriever crossed with a poodle, even if they are more healthier for allergy prone people

Which dog breed do you reccomend?

Posted by: | Comments (47)

My husband and I want to get a puppy and we’re sort of terrible at deciding upon a breed and keep changing our mind. A small to medium sized dog would be nice, preferably not too much slobbering …

My hubby has thought up a thousand differant dogs, I want a yorkie as I hear they’re clever and very swwet natured. My hubby wants a french bulldog, then he wants a staff … he changes his mind. What dogs do you guys have and which are do they look like? However shallow this may sound, I want a cute dog!!

which dog breed is “better” ??

Posted by: | Comments (7)

for my situation ??
im looking for a 3rd dog i alreayd have 2 very energetic and active dogs 1 year old irish setter and 3 year old clumber spaniel
my family want to get a 3rd dog my dad and mom want to get a collie ( they want a blue merle color) and i always wanted a dalmatian but now im more interested in aussies ( australian shepherds)

i did lots of research and i know what to expect
they will have a lot of exercise im taking my current dogs 3 times a day for 2 hour walks

i did more research on dalmatian cause i know that they are prone to deafness/loss of hearing and (blindness?) and i know that need ot be tested to determine that

Not counting puppy mill dogs, prematurely born pups, pups from malnourished mothers, mothers who had complicated pregnancies, etc.

Let’s say, all these pups have great bloodlines, great papers, the best breeders, etc. Which breed is more likely to have a heart murmur?
