My dog has had terrible gas with various types of food. Is there an ingredient that causes this and what brand of food would be suggested? I’ve tried holistic foods among the other name brands out there. Any help is appreciated.
My dog has bloody diarrhea and gas. I need help right away.?
Posted by: | CommentsMy dog is fifteen years of age and is having severe uncontrollable bloody diarrhea as well as gas. When she attempts to defecate, it comes in spurts of liquid and blood. This has been going on for a full day. I really, really need some help. She is on a normal diet: Dog food, water. However, it is possible she may have eaten a dead animal of some sort. She has a few fleas (though I highly doubt that is the problem).
So, just a recap:
Dog at fifteen years old
Bloody diarrhea
Gas
Normal diet
May have eaten something dead
Fleas
I’d very much appreciate immediate help.

Please, don’t suggest that, ’cause we’re broke.
Again, some people have not looked at the last bit. So I shall put it again, because calling help for a vet is not an option. I will put it in caps so people will see it.
DO NOT RECOMMEND A VET. WE DON’T HAVE THE MONEY.
I’m not shouting at you. Some people tend to say a vet, but we just can’t.
Oh, also, she’s acting completely normal despite her diarrhea. She’s still playful as she always is, she’s walking around, barking at trees, etcetra. She seems fine. It’s just that… she’s not.
I took him in a week ago from someone who could no longer take care of him. Everything has been fine until now. I woke up this morning and found vomit from him. Also now he won’t eat but will drink water without a problem. I took him out for a walk and he had diarrhea. I would just like to know what it could be. He is a 4 year old miniature pinscher.
I didn’t find out about the diarrhea until after I had fed him. I know about letting them fast. He has been on the same food now since tuesday and has had no problems until now. I was already planning on getting him to the vet on friday so I could get him his shots and to get checked for worms.
Is there an OTC product (pill, etc) to lessen or completely end my dog’s diarrhea?

IAMS then switched to Pedigree in trying to alleviate diarrhea . purposely have been feeding him extremely small portions twice daily . portions are approximately 1-cup measuring cup . never ice cream or ‘people’ food. Just looking for something to regulate his system. Thanks to all for viable assistance.
He is 4 years old and I have only given him rice and chicken for the last 2 days, which he is happily eating but he’s still getting bouts of it around 5/6 times a day in small amounts. We had to have our older dog put down at the weekend, could the trauma of this be affecting him?

Posted by: | CommentsMy Chihuahua Doxie mix had diarrhea tonight. There was regular poop in the mix but it was very wet and liquid like. She has another poop like that last night although it wasn’t as big. Her poop this afternoon was normal. She did eat a hot dog that someone sliped her under that table but I don’t think that would make her poop like that. She has been very active and playful she was even playful after she took the diarrhea poop. Is this something I should be worried about.
I fed my dog 2 cans of progresso chicken noodle soup today, will my dog get diarrhea?

Posted by: | CommentsThe only things wrong with him is puking up yellow bile and the diarrhea. Other than those two things, he is completely normal. Could he be sick? Should I take him to the vet?
Puppy has parvo but NO diarrhea.?
Posted by: | CommentsThis is good right? She had 1 episode of diarrhea when i woke up this morning.. but NOTHING at all today, no stools at all.
She has been vomiting, but its only clear.. looks like water. No blood, not yellow,etc.
Did I catch it in time? I get the parvaid and collidal silver tomorrow. She is isolated in the spare bathroom in her bed,, right over the vent so she gets heat. I keep giving her pedialite every 20-30 minutes with a syringe. Also, at 2am I give her her other half of anti nausea pill. (Reglan)
I always thought the dog will throw up blood, and have bloody diarrhea though?
I seriously think you guys WANT me to be a horrible pet owner. I DID go to the vet today with her. they did a snap parvo test.. it was BARELY positive, but with 2 more minutes remaning on the test, 1 half of the test had a very faint positive.
Please help dog has really bad bloody diarrhea?
Posted by: | CommentsMy friend left her 2 year old German Shepard Corgi mix and last night she was left alone for 3 hours and she tore up the house. Were not sure what she ate but she woke up this morning with bloody diarrhea. She wasn’t straining it was just coming out and it was watery and chunky. Were not sure if we should bring her to the vet or wait it out.
Please help? Any ideas?
