Despite being unable to see, German spitz Rowan barks and listens to the echos to help him tell where he is in relation to nearby objects. Owner Sam Orchard, 41, was shocked when a vet told her that a congenital defect meant Rowan had been born without eyes. But 18-month-old Rowan is now almost indistinguishable from a sighted dog after learning to use his barks to judge where he is.

Posted by: | CommentsToday i noticed that my dog’s eyes weren’t as brown as usual and seemed to have a very light fog in them, what possible tests can i do at home to see what is happening? She’s a golden German Shepherd with some chow in her as she has a black spotted tongue. We also there believe there are a few more breeds involved in her genetic makeup but we aren’t sure. feel free to ask questions
my dog got shampoo in his eyes, what will happen?
Posted by: | CommentsI took my to the dog salon to get him showered and trimmed just a couple hours ago, when i came back to pick him, one of the people working there said that the person rub the side of the eyes to hard that shampoo went into his eyes so they used eye drops to help. but he’s not opening his eyes, i’m just worried, i’m going to the vet tomorrow. i’m just wondering has anyones dog experienced this before? if your dogs experienced this what will actually help open their eye

She isnt blind, and she’s active and normal like all the other puppies. She doesnt seem sick or anything, she just stands out a lot O _ o The parents dont have blue eyes so why does she?
