I have a 7 year old lhasa apso who has had a golf ball sized tumor on his leg for about 4 1/2 years. Vets told me it was a “fatty” tumor and it was harmless. Just over the past 3 maybe 4 weeks it has gotten to the size of a baseball. I was going to be making a vet appointment soon anyways but last night i noticed that it had broken or burst open in a little spot and was bleeding. He eats and drinks still but i have noticed he doesn’t eat as much as he used to. He hasn’t lost any weight from what i can tell though. He will run sometimes and sleeps pretty much all day everyday (unless he’s getting food) but he’s never really been an active dog anyways. He has an appointment today at 2 o’clock but i was just wondering if anybody on here has had the same experience with their dog. If you have how did things turn out? Is there a good chance that its cancer now since it has grown so large so quickly? I’m just worried about what the vet is going to say. So i thought maybe i would come here and maybe see if any of you have had a similar experience to kind of prepare myself. Thanks.
