my dog has little white worms in his poop what are they?
Posted by: | Commentsokay so i got home from school and my dog pooped in his kennel and as i was cleaning his cage i saw this little white worms in his poop. today in school we talked about tapeworms in zoology and the worms in his stool didnt look like tapeworms. what are they?
they look like little pieces of rice with antannas. or it could be their eyes…
Why wont my dog poop in front of me?
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve had my little Capulin for about 5 months now. I know I haven’t been the best dog trainer for him but I’m really trying. I will admit that I’ve been mean to him due to my frustrations but I feel terrible right after so I apologize, hug, and kiss him to let him know I still care. I’m really trying not to yell and I’ve been pretty good for the last week but I’m ready to scream and yell again. I know that wont work so I really reframe myself from yelling. I thought my potty training days were over because we won’t have accidents when I’m at home with him. I take him outside every few hours and he goes. The bad thing is that I use to let him run free and do his business, so now I can’t get him to do it on call. He only pees when I tell him go potty but he won’t poop. This wasn’t a problem because I knew he would go when ever I left him alone. However, I didn’t consider what I would do when I had to leave him alone because he was always with me. I now have a full time job and he can’t be with me during those hours. I looked into the crate method because I don’t want him outside by himself but it hasn’t been working. I try taking him out in the morning before I leave to work but he will not poop if I am there in front of him. I leave him in the crate and when I come home there is poop and pee all over the crate. I don’t yell at him. I simply take him out for a walk and I keep telling him go potty, go potty, go potty. He pees like 10 times but he won’t poop. What do I do? I think he’s confused. He knows that potty means to pee but how do I get him to poop as well when I say that? Please help. I’ve been doing this crate thing for a week now and it doesn’t change. He poops and pees in there everyday. I’m tired of cleaning his crate and taking him a bath on a daily basis. I love him so much but I can’t do this for

My dog is a five month old wheaten terrier and he is too cute. He’s near perfect, the only thing is he eats my cat’s poop! How can we stop him without pills or medication. He eats a 1:2 ratio of Purina Puppy Chow:Precise Plus Puppy Formula. If we move the litter box, our cat will just use any fabric as a litter box, including clothes, beds, etc.
I’ve complained to owner who lives on site & she doesnt want to get involved & when she has sd something she’s put my name in it so problem tenants are resentful of me & do things to deliberately piss me off: they wont admit nor clean dog/cat poop in our yard, block my access to garage (we share) & storage cabinets, smoke outside my door/windows bcuz we have allergies/asthma, even after I ask nicely they just find another way to get at me. Now they smoke in garage they share with us + smoke MJ & the smells get in our car/interior Their pets are flea ridden & 1 had parvo, luckily my puppy had his shots, a few of our personal things in the garage have come up MISSING, we’ve come home late to find garage open with their chairs & beer bttles etc on our side of the garage & we have to park on the street, their outside cat w/fleas has gotten into our car to sleep at night bcuz they leave the garage dr cracked for him, they lve his fd/water outside now there are couple other strays hanging around & cat uses flowerbed as cat-litter box! I’ve spent sooo much money on things to get rid of fleas in the yard & hse + flea baths for my puppy cuz he gets fleas when their puppy gets out the house & runs into our area, they wont keep her on a leash even though I’ve let them know where to get a cheap one! And they leave their cigarette butts EVERYWHERE, hang their clthes anywhere outside making the property look run down, their kids have thrown toys at windsheild of our leased Lexus, their handles of their scooters have left scratches on the Lexus door, 1 kid took a metal pole & smashed my daughters mission project(I had the mom pay for it), I caught them sliding down the bk window of my honda (prkd outside) & saw them yank 1 of the weakened fence bars til it broke…so even though I’ve talked to them diplomatically about this stuff, they dont admit to ANYTHING & again, the owner doesnt do anything! She does know about the majority of it but still, nothing. Police wont do anything either but tell them to keep it down & if I mention MJ to police, I know these pple will retaliate against us & our property. have 8 mths left on my rent & cant leave bcuz I’d be breaking my rental agreement. Should I fight back or just wait to move? I dont really want a ‘tit for tat’ but talking hasnt worked & if I keep complaining/sending letters to the owner, she’s the type to get irritated & find ways to point out any little thing we possibly do (ie: they prk anywhere blocking exit/entering, I prk 1 time in FRONT of the garage w/space in between & she left a note on my car saying I nd to obey the rules too especially since I was the one who complained, if we accidently lft our trash bin out front, she txts me to tell me to move it to the back, when I start up my car in am she says fumes go upstairs into her apt, so pull car out immediately upon starting engine…all of which I complied etc). And if thats not enough, their 20 yr old son sexually attacked my daughtr (same age)but bcuz she had drinks he offered her & passed out, PD wont really act on anything!! Can you believe that? I live in southern CA anyone know what I can do? Legally or otherwise? HELP

can your dog get rabies from eating poop?
Posted by: | CommentsToday we got a letter that said there was a raccoon killed very very close to our home and it was sent to a laboratory and it came back positive for rabies. i was wondering if your dog can get rabies from eating poop from a rabid animal or if he did can he give it to my son from licking him after eating the poop. the dog don’t have any shots and eats all the animal poop it finds. but we dont know if he has eating any of the raccoons poop.

How can I stop my dog from eating other dog poop?
Posted by: | CommentsMy dog constantly eats her and my sister’s dog’s poop right when he goes. I’ve tried tabasco sauce and ForBid and both did not help. Her previous owners never cleaned the kennels out so this has been part of her diet since she was a puppy and I can’t break this nasty habit of hers. Any other suggestions?
