No doubt your dog has an ear infection. It will probably need an antibiotic. Take your dog to the vet. he will know what the infection is and the correct medication (no doubt drops or cream) to clear up the problem.
Your dog needs to see a vet
They can have several different types of ear infections- even mites living in ears- and they each need a different med
also get a good cleaner from the vet office- if you don’t know how ti clean the ears- ask them to show you
also ask about a followup exam- sometimes the outside of the ear that we can see looks clean- but it is still infected in the inner ear part
Of the many causes of ear problems in dogs, ear mites are common, and most often found in puppies and young adult dogs. Ear mites are tiny little bugs that live in the ear canal, and they bite through the skin to feed. Telltale symptoms are scratching at the ears and violent shaking of the head. The insides of the ears will appear red, crusted, and scabbed. You may notice earwax that looks like coffee grounds (this is dried blood), and there may be an odor as well.
Take your dog to the vet ASAP. It is most likely an ear infection and he/she will need medication. You will have to put this gel into his/her ears and massage gently for a few days until the infection is gone. Just think about how babies cry when they have ear infections. It’s very uncomfortable.
If your dog has flappy ears, be sure to clean them weekly. Bacteria likes to grow in moist, warm environments.
The best, and only responsible, thing is to get your dog to the vet to find out what kind of infection it is.
Could be ear mites, could be yeast infection – it needs to be identified and you need to get the right medicine for your dog.
Why would you let your dog suffer when this can be cured – get her to the vet.
