what to do for a dog ear infection? please hurry and answer?
Bymy apple head chihuahua has an ear infection. im almost 100 percent sure of it. he keeps shaking his head and he squeals when i touch his ears or even close to them (and he never squeals). also theres like a tiny bit of brown stuff on his fur outside his ear. it might just be dirt but im pretty sure its puss or something. anywho, i would take him to the vet but i literally do not have a dollar to my name. im only 16 so i dont have a job yet, and i asked my mom for the money but she doesnt have it either cus her and my dad just separated so times are hard. so is there any home remedies for curing dog ear infections? i feel sooo bad that i cant do anything to help him cus i know its really botherin him. thank you!

your dog need a vet its a very painful condition
sell something
borrow money from friends or family
Ask your vet to set up a payment plan.
If you cant do any of these things or wont sign your dog over so he can get treatment

Oh for pete’s sake. Bring this dog to a shelter or rescue if you can’t afford the $5-10 for ear meds.

If your dog has brown crusty material in his ears, it may be ear mites. And if it’s developed into an infection also, the dog has to be on antibiotics and have his ears treated.
Maybe you could ask your father to help out and take you and the dog to the vet, if that’s possible. The dog really has to see the vet. It’s in pain.

Since you are a vet and have diagnosed your dogs ear infection. why do you need to ask us what to do.
You are only 16 it is your parents responsibility to make sure this dog gets treated.
I am tired of hearing we can’t afford it shut off internet and sell your computer and use money for treatment. If that isn’t enough make payments.
We all are on hard times now but we make sure our animals are taken care of.

my dog Sandy gets ear infections all the time. You should go to the vet to treat it. They give you stuff to put in its ear then you have to rub it in with a cotton ball. Dogs dont like this so do this quick and hold you dog to the ground. Hope this helped!!

Nope – no home remedies. Ear infections are extremely painful and if you leave it go untreated, there is a good possibility that it will cause permanent hearing loss for your dog.

Your parents are responsible for your dogs care, since you are only 16! Not taking a dog to the vet for treatment when it is sick or injured, is Against the law and considered Animal Abuse! Ear Infections can only be treated with Antibiotics, nothing else! Ear Infections are extremely painful and your dog shouldn’t have to suffer in pain! No home remedies for an Ear Infection. Some vets take payments! You can sell something, borrow the money, or apply for Care Credit. If you don’t want your dog to go deaf, which he will if you don’t get this taken care of right away, then you better find a way to get him to a vet fast. If he squeals when you just touch his ears, then his Ear Infection is at the Severe stage and if you don’t do something your dog will lose his hearing.
